The project’s main structure is inspired by the lumber shed that was long used by the Blackwells Hardware store at this location. The building will include a restaurant use and will anchor the street corner with a covered outdoor terrace.
A building with ground floor retail and second floor residential units will form a more urban street edge and help establish a new “main street” for the city.
Multiple pedestrian access points connect the public streets to the internal site, which includes a proposed ice cream shop and event lawn.
At Campbell Street there will be a building with retail on the ground floor and office on the two upper floors.
A large covered shed will be used for outdoor dining and fronts the large event space.
